5 Spring Refreshes that will Transform Your Home

Don’t you love spring!!  It means warmer weather and lot’s of time outside. It's going to be in the 70's this week here in the Carolina's and you know what that means?  It's time to open the windows,  do a little spring cleaning, and get ready to spend our summer outdoors!  I've got a few tips to get you started!!

1. Slipcovers for a Fresh, Classic Look

One quick, easy way to refresh a room for spring or summer is to cover your upholstered furniture pieces with crisp, linen slipcovers.  Some of the trending colors are bold, classic colors, cool neutral, and warm, calming tones.  It’s an instant facelift for any room.

2. Refresh a Piece with New Reupholstery

Giving an older piece of upholstery an update is a really simple and easy way to refresh your space.  A quick diy update to dining chairs in a bold color will cheer up your room and enable you to change out accessories or add other pops of color to a monochromatic space.  Also, don't be afraid of a great floral print!

3. Cozy Cushions for Updated Seating

Change out any loose seat cushions.  Cushions that have seen better days are an quick update your space. It's a great refresh for any space where you may have a cozy corner. Add some colorful pillows and you've got a beautiful living space to enjoy! Don’t forget about your outdoor cushions!!

Add a fresh look by changing out your throw pillows for the spring and summer to lighter, fresher colors that can transform your spaces.  Or go for bold patterns and if you have down fills. Buying new pillow covers and throws is an easy way to update your look.  Fold up your winter covers and throws, pop in a closet  for your fall refresh!!

5. Window Treatments that Invite the Outdoors In

Window treatments can completely transform a room.  As daylight increases each day, this is the perfect time to replace heavy or dark curtains with lighter-weight fabrics or sheers.  Use a pretty, floral-pattern or a really crisp linen in a fresh color or a fabric with a fun block print!

Soaking Up That Fresh Spring Feeling
